Test is Best! Stockport Council Encourages Residents to Make the Most of Universal Testing Offer
All adults without symptoms are now eligible for FREE twice-weekly tests.
Stockport Council is calling for all residents to take advantage of the universal testing offer. All adults without symptoms can now get free twice-weekly lateral flow tests, to help in the ongoing fight against Covid-19.
While the remarkable vaccination programme offers one way to combat coronavirus and move us out of lockdown, taking up the regular testing offer is another way the spread of the virus can be stemmed. As the virus is still spreading in the borough, Stockport Council is urging residents to claim their free twice-weekly tests. With one in three people who catch coronavirus showing no symptoms, taking up these tests is essential to stop transmission of the virus within the community.
