this morning that tells us where everything stands. harry enton. good morning. how are you? >> i'm fantastic. i love debates so much. yea! >> look at that enthusiasm for the morning. >> top line, what is it? >> joe biden still leads the democratic race. according to our latest cnn poll. his lead has dropped down to 24%. he was at 29% versus elizabeth warren who has risen up. she was at 14%. now up to 18%. bernie sanders at 17% in a tie with her but it's important to point out this is elizabeth warren's best poll we've ever conducted by cnn dating back since last year. clearly she has some momentum. >> it's interesting you look at everybody but biden up in that poll. so each one themp seemed to steal a little support there. but with the caveat his lead still, one consistency is he's still in the front. on race groups, because this has been key because a big portion of biden's support is among african americans. tell us what you learned there.
groups is how she explained it to her mom. her mom thought she should be misunderstanding. race groups? went to tell about the affinity groups. the questions are how do you see other people? how do other people see you? what assumptions do you make based on appearances? ainsley, appears all they're doing is trying to show these kids how different they are. >> i see both sides on this. you're right, it's a private school. parents are paying $43,000. they can opt out of sending their children to that school if they don't like the curriculum. that school can do whatever they want. it is private school. they're not getting federal dollars. however i think children are so precious because they're so innocent. they don't see race. they don't see class. they play together. they love each other. that is why the bible says you should have faith like a child because they just see everyone as equal. i want to preserve that when i have children one day as long as i can because it is so precious. >> you're mom's teacher? >> yes. she was a teacher. i talked to mom bit. i don't know enough about it.

the pew center back in june took a look who uses social media and it really cuts across all age groups, all race groups, all income groups. so you've got a opportunity to get people out in front of your, or get people to the take a look at your message, get the out in front of people. what they will try to do here at the convention is extend their reach, making all of their speakers, or as many as possible available in a digital greenroom through twitter, through skype, what have you. so they can talk to local reporters. they can talk to people who have curiosities about their positions. they can talk to folks out there unable to be at tampa to try to extend the reach. they're very much watched events, political conventions but in this particular instance they're trying to extend the reach to a broader audience that may not watch it traditionally on television. bill: interesting to note, john mccain, 39 million americans watched his speech four years ago. big audience for the next two weeks. see you in tampa.
