Two new sculptures installed in computer science building

With the installation of two new sculptures in the Computer Science and Technology Building, art has become more integrated into diverse locations across campus.
The artists for the project were picked two years ago through Percent for Art Louisiana, a public funding program that says when more than $2 million of the state fund is spent on the construction of a state building, one percent shall be used for the installation of art into the building.
The winner for the glass sculpture, located in the entrance of CSTB, was Alexander Tylevich. The two winners for the ceramic sculpture, located in the first-floor hallway, were Amy Baur and Bryan Boldon of In Plain Sight Art Studio in Minneapolis, MN.  ....

Southeastern's Sustainability Center wins national award – The Lion's Roar

One of the main causes they advocate for is recycling. Right now, there are about 75 green recycling bins located across campus. They accept paper, plastic, metal cans and cardboard, but they do not accept glass, plastic bags, styrofoam or electronics.
Another item often seen across campus that they contributed toward is the 98 water bottle filling stations. The Elkay water filters are made with activated carbon and can purify up to 2000 gallons before needing to be replaced.  ....

Cutting off toxic people isn't easy – The Lion's Roar

Is it your ex hitting you up at 2 a.m.? Is it your so-called “friend” talking about you behind your back? Are your parents yelling at you for your grades not being good enough? There must be different approaches for different people and situations.
How do you know if a person is toxic?
