At least five people have died and several more are missing. The volcano on on white island to the north of the country is a popular tourist attraction. The sudden eruption happened just after 2pm local time. Its feared passengers from a cruise ship were looking at the volcanos crater when it started spewing ash thousands of feet into the air.
