Attorneys for two men who were wrongfully convicted in a New Milford murder case now want $60M to be set aside for payment if their lawsuit results in payment. That lawsuit is now on hold after attorneys for Dr. Henry Lee appealed a ruling that he was liable for fabricating evidence that led to the wrongful convictions of Shawn Henning and Ralph Birch more than three decades ago. On the other side of the courtroom though, the lawyers representing the two men filed a motion Tuesday seeking a prejudgment remedy of $60 million to ensure their clients are paid if a jury votes in their favor.
