The temperature was a relatively balmy six degrees Celsius, the wind was slight and rain seemed unlikely so there was a good turnout of nearly 300 runners and walkers at Saturday’s Penrith parkrun.
On a crisp, clear December day at Frenchfield, with wisps of early morning mist hanging low over the River Eamont, 163 runners, walkers and joggers braved the cold to take part in the 379th Penrith parkrun.
On a cool and breezy morning 208 eager runners, walkers and buggy pushers lined up for the start of the 370th Penrith parkrun at Frenchfield.
