Frontier Texas! is a museum that celebrates the Texas Frontier located just a short 10 minute walk from the Abilene Public Library Main location. You’ll want to check it out this summer in particular as the library’s own Tony Redman will take part in special live reenactments this summer in the Frontier Texas! courtyard.
A short drama will bring to life the shootout at the Cattlemen’s Exchange. Free, and open to the public, shows begin Saturday, May 29 at noon and continues every Saturday thereafter (except June 12) until July 10.
