Board Of Health Honors Medical Director
May 5, 2021 Dr. Rick Johansen has attended his final meeting of the Berrien County Board of Health as Berrien County Medical Director. The board on Wednesday read a resolution honoring the retiring director. The board’s Peg Kohring said Johansen has been medical director since 1999, and in the past has served as president of the Michigan Association of Public Health and Preventative Medicine Physicians, and as a member of the governor’s task force on child abuse and neglect.
