Maybe it’s like the desperation Jews in Europe felt when they sent their children, while they still could, anywhere to escape extermination by the Nazis. Maybe it’s what Vietnamese parents felt when they tossed their children over the U.S. Embassy wall while Saigon fell, hoping their children would be on those helicopters that ferried away our evacuating government personnel. ....

What is almost comical is Mulshine’s idea that it is conniving Democrats who want to keep “the Donald” in the political forefront. Let me remind Mr. Mulshine that we have yet to hear a concession speech from former President Donald Trump. We witnessed our Capitol being stormed by Trump followers, wreaking havoc, even death, before our eyes. This was all done to “stop the steal,” the lie that is today guiding Republican-controlled states to curtail voting rights for future elections. ....

According to Deadline, the Daytime Emmy-winner will play the protective Tevin Wakefield, a former long-distance runner and Olympic track coach who becomes Dion's trainer and mentor in the series' second season. Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu, Raising Dion is one of the most popular Netflix series that made its debut in 2019. Fans enjoyed following the story of Nicole, played by Alisha Wainwright, raising her son, Dion, played by Ja'Siah Young, who develops "mysterious, superhero-like abilities." Flynn joins the season two cast along with rising actress Aubriana Davis, Sweet Magnolias' Tracey Bonner, and P-Valley's Josh Ventura. Board of education President Patricia Limperos said the board has scheduled interviews in executive session for Alisha Alls, Jenna Daugherty, Lea Dotson, Todd Johnson, Jacqueline Shannon and Jaime Shuster. Alls is a counselor and business owner with Greentree Counseling Center; Daugherty, an English as a second language teacher and tutor self employed and with VIPKid online education company; Dotson, an education policy analyst with Alliance for Climate Education; Johnson, pastor with Second Baptist Church, Warren; Shannon, certified cancer registrar with Cleveland Clinic; and Shuster, teacher, editor and research consultant with Hiram College, Kent State University and Cleveland State University. ....
