January 13, 2021 Effie Aline Palese was born to Gus and Ethal Tarwater in Birmingham, Ala., in 1931. She met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Paul Palese, through music. They were married in 1953 and lived first in Claymont and North Wilmington before retiring in Rehoboth. Aline passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes, Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, weeks shy of her 90th birthday.
