Both Tarin-Deleon and and Ana tarin pleaded guilty to an additional count of criminal mischief costing between $20,000 and $100,000, a class 4 felony. Both were given a four-year deferred sentence and ordered to pay large restitution fees of more than $14,000 each; a deferred sentence serves as a guilty plea but, at the end of the term, if the defendant follows a set of conditions, their guilty plea is withdrawn.
