Cavoli, a member of the Class of 1987, will receive the Woodrow Wilson Award. Kahn, who earned his Ph.D. in 1964, will receive the James Madison Medal. The awards are presented on Alumni Day, to be held on campus Feb. 25. 

Ed Felten is the Robert E. Kahn professor of computer science and public affairs at Princeton University, the founding director of Princeton's Center for Information Technology Policy, and he serves as a member of the United States Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.
