JINAN, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Focusing on common values and a community with a shared future for humanity, the Nishan Forum on World Civilizations saw its ninth gathering at Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius in east China's Shandong Province, from Tuesday to Thursday.

When the world is living through profound changes and a pandemic both unseen in a century, accompanied by geopolitical tensions, there is a common call for a dialogue among different civilizations to seek a better future for humanity.
The 2022 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival and the eighth Nishan Forum on World Civilizations will be held in Qufu, a county-level city in Jining, East China's Shandong province, from Sept 26 to 28, to promote excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhance communications and mutual learning between different civilizations.
