"The article on metaphors for climate change made me think of a few conversations I've had over the years where I've tried to explain to someone during a heat wave that climate change is different than weather. Especially during heavy cold winters, people tend to always fall back on the idea that it means there's no climate change. I found using the metaphor of a broken home thermostat to be helpful.
