Abdomen. Officers entered the residence. The boyfriend stabbed canine jax with a knife. His handler wasnt hurt. The Department Says they attempted to negotiate with the suspect but he threw his knife at officers. At which point, the lieutenant, a 19year veteran, fired a weapon in selfdefense. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. The neighbors are still shaken by what occurred but say times lying these put things into perspective.
