800,000 federal workers prepare to miss a second paycheck on friday. That is if a deal is not reached tonight at midnight which looks like is no chance. And 10 of the nations tsa agents are calling out sick. The president s new proposal will be part of a larger package that Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell is expected to introduce today. A Senate Democratic aide tells cnn the measure does not have the 60 votes it needs to advance. Mcconnell moving ahead anyway hoping to shift blame for the shutdown on to the democrats.
