Rose welcome to the program. We begin this evening with the confirmation hearings for judge neil gorsuch, and we talk to emily bazelon. She writes for the New York Times magazine and is a senior fellow at the Yale Law School. One question is whether the democrats have the kind of ammunition they need to justify voting against judge gorsuch as a person, as opposed to as a symbol of the Trump Administration or as, in the democrats view, the unwarranted, undeserved replacement for merrick garland, obamas failed Supreme Court nomination.
