The Russian military has reported a major uptick in Ukraine’s recruitment of foreign mercenaries. Estimates on just how much these ‘soldiers of fortune’ get paid vary wildly, from less than $1,000 a month to $2,000 per day. MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ukraine's counteroffensive is being stalled by the indecisiveness of its Western allies over arms supplies and is failing to make significant advances because its strategy is focused on deterring Russian troops on the front line, former US National Security Advisor John Bolton said.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces has reverted from the US tactics to their previous strategy, as Ukraine Western-trained units got bogged down, per the US press.
A total of 4,990 foreign mercenaries fighting for Kiev regime have been killed since the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict in February 2022, while a US media report from June 2023 mentions “at least 25 Americans” being killed.
