THEFTS. BURGLARIES
• A bicycle valued at $550 was stolen about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday from a Clark Drive resident.
• About $243 was taken from a residence in the 400 block of West Reid Street, according to a report filed at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
OTHER REPORTS
• A man who was magnet fishing off Woods Lane about 5:50 p.m. Monday found a firearm. Authorities retrieved the gun.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Margaret L. Faye, 62, of Medora was booked into Greene County Jail at 7:21 p.m. Monday on charges of driving under the influence and failing to reduce speed.
• Tasha C. Peters, 32, of Wrights was booked into Greene County Jail at 12:43 p.m. Sunday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Jerseyville man faces sex assault charge

JERSEYVILLE A Jerseyville man was charged in a sex assault against a teen-aged victim, and an Elsah man was charged with possession of firearms after having his Firearm Owners Identification Card card revoked in separate felony cases filed by the Jersey County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Christopher M. Quinn, 42, of Jerseyville, was charged March 5 with criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony.
According to court documents, on Feb. 23 Quinn allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old minor.
Bail was set at $300,000.
In a separate case, Joshua T. McEuen, 34, of Elsah, was charged March 1 with possession of firearm with FOID revoked, a Class 3 felony.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Brook A. Reno, 39, of 123 Douglas St., White Hall, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday on a retail theft charge.
• Raina D. Tarver, 37, homeless, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West College Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession or transportation of liquor by a driver, driving while license is revoked or suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and having an obstructed windshield.

JERSEYVILLE Recent felony filings by the Jersey County State’s Attorney’s Office include:
• Eric L. Gettings, 52, of Fieldon, was charged Jan. 28 with driving while under the influence of alcohol, a Class 1 felony. According to court documents, on Jan. 28 Gettings was found to be driving a 2017 Dodge on Illinois 16 at St. Mary’s Church in Fieldon, while under the influence of alcohol. It was noted he had multiple convictions for similar offenses ranging back to 1986. Bail was set at $50,000.
• Quindarion Laval Wright, 20, of St. Louis, was charged Jan. 29 with obstructing justice, a Class 4 felony. According to court documents, on Jan. 26 Wright grabbed evidence, an iPhone, from a police officer and threw it on the jail floor. Bail was set at $20,000.
