Lobos Sweep Awards as Wolf and Guereca Named MW Players of the Week ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. The University of New Mexico volleyball team opened up the season with a sweep of Nevada, and now have swept the Mountain West Player of the Week awards. Following their first two collegiate matches in a Lobo uniform, freshman Kali Wolf was named MW Offensive Player of the Week, while redshirt-freshman Uxue Guereca was named the MW Defensive Player of the Week. It is the first time since 2017 that the Lobos have swept the weekly conference award, with the only other time being Oct. 30, 2017 with setter Sarah Lobo and libero Ashley Kelsey.
