Santa clara county takes dramatic action. Public schools in Santa Clara County will close to student attendance beginning march 16th through april 3rd, 2020. Cases of covid19. Oakland Unified School District officials made the announcement to close all schools for three weeks amidst the rising number of coronavirus cases. We all know that this decision will pose difficult times for the families and students who depend on our schools. Three out of every four students in a district rely on free or discounted meals.
