“Given the success of last year’s Short Play Festival, EXIT Theatre will be presenting a dozen 10-minute plays this year, with an additional night of performances each weekend,” EXIT Theatre Artistic Director Christina Augello said.
This tasty “Potato Gumbo” ends its limited run with three performances this weekend at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and a closing matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Humboldt Grange No. 501 will host a “Holiday Vendor Fair” Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the grange hall, 5845 Humboldt Hill Road, Eureka.
The lighting design by Calder Johnson and Brian Butler is excellent, as is the sound/foley design by Howard Lang.
Scott “Q” Marcus, past president of the Core Council for the Center and organizer of the event, said, “Especially during times like these, we are extremely excited to continue providing an event that truly fits the spirit of the holidays.
