And bravely, clinging to the hope he could get a second lung transport he desperately needed. He spent the last month in the hospital waiting in vein. Martys funeral was yesterday. His firefighter family showed up in full force. I only knew marty a short time. Whats going to stay with me about him is his bravery in the face of those towers crumbling and also in the face of his declining health. I hope marty can now rest in peace.
