Named after Tommy’s late mother who taught him everything about cooking, the restaurant offering home-style southern food has been thriving since opening in 2017, thanks to the hustle and bustle of the community and its port.
But disaster struck in 2020. Amidst the onslaught of hurricanes and COVID-19 sweeping Texas, financial hardships forced the Guidry’s to make the tough decision of closing Edith’s doors at the end of the year. ....
