Freeway. A pickup truck caught fire just after 10 30 this morning on interstate 880. This is at the washington avenue exit in san leandro. Look at that charred remains of the truck there. The chp and fire engines blocked all but one lane in the northbound direction for about an hour. That caused traffic to back up all the way to highway 237 in hayward.
