Celebrate Law Day with ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ screenings
GREENFIELD — Although Law Day is Saturday, May 1, the Franklin County Bar Association is not offering the normal day of programming it typically provides due to continued restrictions at the Franklin County Justice Center and Greenfield Community College. Instead, association member Isaac Mass is putting on a program at the Garden Cinemas.
On Monday, May 3, the Franklin County Bar Association is holding two free screenings, at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., of the 1962 classic “To Kill a Mockingbird” starring Gregory Peck as lawyer Atticus Finch. While admission is free, a cash donation of $5 or more is requested for the Legal Food Frenzy, an annual fundraising competition to support the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
