FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) A 41-year-old Fresno man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl for months.
Fresno County Sheriff s Office detectives say Brent Cox had been in a prolonged relationship with the 12-year-old victim, grooming her so he could take advantage of her sexually.
They say they found evidence he carried out many sexual acts with the young girl over several months.
He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail and faces multiple felony charges related to sexual assault of a minor and intimidating or dissuading a victim. ....

Sanger man arrested for allegedly possessing more than 600 images of children being raped

A Sanger man has been arrested for allegedly possessing images of children being sexually abused.
The Fresno County Sheriff s Office says 22-year-old Sergio Monrroy had more than 600 photos and videos of children being raped, including some as young as infants.
Detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force found the images and videos after serving a search warrant at his house in Sanger.
He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of possessing child pornography.

DENVER The 40-year-old man who was arrested at Denver International Airport (DIA) last week and charged with abducting a 12-year-old girl is now fighting extradition. At a hearing Thursday morning in Denver District Court, Nathan Larson did not waive his right to an extradition hearing. As a result, a new court date was set for Jan. 28 and Larson will be held on $200,000 cash bond. ....

Virginia Man Arrested in 'Extremely Disturbing' Abduction of 12-Year-Old California Girl – NBC10 Philadelphia

“This particular case is extremely disturbing,” Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims said.
Larson began communicating with the unnamed victim living in Fresno, California, mid-October through multiple social media platforms. He convinced the girl “through manipulation and grooming” to send him inappropriate images of herself, authorities said.
Eventually Larson flew from Virginia to Fresno, then about 2 a.m. Monday persuaded the girl to sneak out of her home, authorities said.
The two took a rideshare vehicle to the Fresno Airport, authorities said.
Larson made the girl wear a wig and told her to act as if she was disabled and unable to speak so she couldn’t converse with anyone as they boarded a plane, authorities said. ....
