In 2016, three years from now, the National Park service is going to celebrate its centennial anniversary. While the creation of our National Park system is one of our countrys greatest successes, the park service aces significant funding challenges in taking care of the more than 400 National Parks, monuments, and other sites that congress and the president has entrusted to its protection.
