舒昭兵)夏日炎炎，靖州苗族侗族自治县渠阳镇芙蓉学校新建项目仍在抓紧进行，秋季开学该学校将投入使用。“18个教学班，增加学位810个。”7月4日，县教育局驻芙蓉学校项目联系人刘有成接受记者采访时介绍，学校开学后，将基本满足辖区内适龄儿童就近入学需求。
党史学习教育中，靖州聚焦群众“急难愁盼”问题，把大家关心的“学位、床位、车位、厕位”等民生项目办好、办实。目前，靖州第二幼儿园主体工程已完工，占地近20亩，可开办24个教学班，增加800个学位。投入使用后，全县普惠性幼儿园占比将达到86%，公办园占比将达51%。
增加就医床位，缓解群众看病难。靖州中医医院整体搬迁项目和二医院综合楼建设也在如火如荼进行。中医医院整体搬迁项目建成后，将完善门诊医技综合楼、急诊住院综合楼、残疾人康复中心、地下停车场等相关配套设施，提升该院对公共卫生的应急处置能力。二医院综合大楼建成后，可提供床位700个，解决医院床位紧张问题。
为解决城区日益突出的停车位紧张问题，靖州一方面改造、新建一批平面停车场和立体停车库，增加车位供给;一方面实行智慧停车收费管理，提高停车位周转率。目前，该县已建成智能停车场4个、平面停车场5个，新增停车位1500个。“停车位多了，管理也规范了，老百姓出行更方便了。”居民罗海苹开心地说。
“小厕所”体现“大民生”。近年来，靖州统筹投入资金990余万元，在全县各乡镇(便民服务中心、林场)、124个行政村开展“厕所革命”，共完成无害化厕所改(新)建4700余户，农村人居环境得到改善。
