York Capital appoints new managing director Seth Pearson was named managing director at money manager York Capital Management. He will be responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution and portfolio company oversight for the firm's private equity platform, according to a news release Wednesday. A York Capital spokesman would not provide further information. Mr. Pearson was previously partner at Wellspring Capital Management.
