The first time you walk into a Whole Foods Market, you'll know you've hit a goldmine for nutritious eats. The upscale grocery chain offers a mix of staple produce and novel fruits and veggies; dozens of nut butters, cereals, and snacks; sustainably sourced proteins; and too many pantry items to count. When you don't want to head to the store IRL, you can even browse through and order thousands of Whole Foods' items online through your Amazon Prime account. All these options mean you can whip up practically any recipe you see on Pinterest, and they can also make shopping for weekly groceries seriously overwhelming.

Shape Studio: 5-Minute Full-Body Circuit for an Instant Mood Boost
Exercise sparks an instant high, but it's also a surefire path to greater well-being when you do it regularly. So suggests a recent consensus in the
Journal of Happiness Studies, which asked top experts to rate 68 science-backed strategies for lifting one's happiness level. Being active ranked third (after bonding with family and friends and joining a club), and working out was No. 5.
One reason: "It makes people more aware of how they feel," says study coauthor Ruut Veenhoven, Ph.D., an emeritus professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. "That sets the scene for finding a way of life that better fits them." (Related: The Most Common Misconceptions About Happiness, Explained)

Whether you spend a day hiking the mountain trails or an hour running around your snow-covered neighborhood, winter workouts in the great outdoors can transform your mood and mind.
“We’ve found that people who saw winter as full of opportunity and not a limiting time of year experienced greater well-being: They had more positive emotions, greater life satisfaction, and greater personal growth,” says Kari Leibowitz, Ph.D., a health psychologist at Stanford who studied the mental benefits of embracing winter in Norway.

Flowery and rich yet mild enough to be extremely versatile — that’s the allure of honey, and why Emma Bengtsson, the executive chef of Aquavit in New York, is a fan of coming up with modern, creative ways to use it in her cooking.
“Honey has an incredibly balanced flavor that bridges together almost any ingredients that might not otherwise pair well,” she says. “I also love how it brings a luxurious smooth texture to sauces and its ability to give meat and fish a deep caramelized taste.”
Not to mention, it's packed with health benefits. "Honey has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants, thanks to key flavonoid compounds,” says Maya Feller, R.D.N., a
