Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) signed four memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for cooperation in cybersecurity with national bodies in Qatar, Romania, Spain, and Kuwait on the sidelines of the third edition of the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF). The MoUs were signed between the Saudi NCA and Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), Romania’s National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), and Kuwait’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
An international gathering on cybersecurity opened in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday, bringing together representatives of global bodies and firms from some 120 countries. The event, sponsored by Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz, was inaugurated by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh, for its third edition, under the theme of “Charting Shared Priorities in Cyberspace.”
Saudi Arabia will host on Wednesday the third edition of the Global Cybersecurity Forum in Riyadh. Sponsored by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the two-day event is being organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) under the theme "Charting Shared Priorities in Cyberspace." The platform will address the most pressing challenges in cyberspace, exploring their impact on industries and sectors, including supply chains and smart cities.
Riyadh is set to host the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) on November 8-9, bringing together some of the world's leading experts and authorities on cybersecurity matters.
