Art Opening The opening of “People” by artist Shirley S. Wulff began Monday, March 22, 9am at the Barbara Gaskin Washington Adult Activity Center, located at 210 NW 12 Avenue in Ocala. The art exhibit will be on display through Monday, June 21, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Shirley Wulff focuses on volunteering with her art. She dedicates her time collaborating with organizations and working one-on-one with people to create artistic opportunities. Her efforts include making hand-drawn cards for homebound individuals, disabled children and adults, and Hospice patients. She creates works for publications to aid victims of violent crimes. She previously worked with the Police Department of the Town of Quantico, Virginia, to curate an art show for the town’s children.
