Its wednesday, january 22nd, im Yasmin Vossoughian alongside Ayman Mohyeldin after 13 hours of debate the senate has passedmen mcconnell resolution laying out the ground rules for President Trumps impeachment trial. Senate republicans rejected 11 amendments most of which were seeking subpoenas from documents to the Trump Administration. Last minute changes to mcconnells proposed rules came earlier in the day. Republicans reversed their original plan for arguments to take place over two days. Now each side will have 24 hours to speak over the course of three days. Sever...
