Film producer and Duncannon native John Wallace has become the 11th recipient of the Dan O'Herlihy Fellowship Award after he was presented with the prize by the Wexford Film Society in the Arts Centre. The Fellowship is named in memory of the Wexford-born and Oscar nominated actor Dan O'Herlihy who died in 2005.

A Wexford man who only “popped in to get a few bits” is looking forward to a Christmas with a difference after winning €100,000 on a scratch card. The lucky punter purchased a €10 Christmas Countdown scratch card at the Spar store in Kilmore Quay and ended up landing the top prize.
