Transport- und Energieministerium hatten Presse und Industrievertreter nämlich auf eine Pressekonferenz über die neue Wasserkraft-Tankstelle eingeladen. Sowohl Privatkunden als auch Unternehmen können an zwei Zapfsäulen den Treibstoff der Zukunft tanken. Ein Verteiler sei mit 700 Bar für kleinere Autos ausgestattet und einer mit 350 Bar für die schwereren Fahrzeuge. Die Station wird von Lkw-Anhängern mit gasförmigem Wasserstoff versorgt. Es werde sichergestellt, dass der Preis nicht den der Großregion übersteigt. „Ich betone: Es muss grüner Wasserstoff sein – sonst ist das natürlich ein kompletter Anschiss“, sagt Transportminister François Bausch („déi gréng“) während der Pressekonferenz. „Wir arbeiten als Ministerium schon lange an diesem Projekt, seit 2016, aber es ist nicht so einfach, einen Partner zu finden, der bereit ist, dieses Risiko einzugehen“, sagt Bausch.
