A $2.5 million investment from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy will help bring a new public aquatic center to Stockton.
The delta aquatic center would likely be along the San Joaquin River or Calaveras River in Stockton, according to a proposal by the San Joaquin Community Foundation.
The 2022-23 budget package provides a total of $23.7 billion from various fund sources—the General Fund, bond funds, and a number of special funds—for programs administered by the California Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Agencies.
