On World Environment Day, Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi applauded the Save Soil Movement, led by Sadhguru, Founder – Isha Foundation, at an event in Vigyan Bhawan.
The gathering of all the countries of the world at the United Nations Convention to Combat Deserfication (UNCCD) COPI5 summit in Cote d’Ivoire represented a key opportunity to redouble governmental policy efforts aimed at reversing the degradation of agricultural land all around the world, and in so doing bring humanity back from the very brink of soil extinction.
The Middle East leg of Sadhguru’s Save Soil journey, which saw him passing through Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, and UAE, arrived in Muscat, the capital city of Oman. Sadhguru was welcomed to a rousing reception in a public event full of people waiting for him with bated breath.
These three-pronged incentives to the farmer will definitely start rolling back this unfolding disaster of soil extinction.
