This is part of a daylong symposium that cnn is having, citizen cnn. And she was really interesting. She knows how to count the votes and she is as secluhrewd as it s when it comes to the map. She says shes quite conservative when it comes to counting the votes, getting up to 23, to get that majority back, which she has been working so hard to do. But shes pretty confident when it comes to where they stand today. Liste listen. If the election were held today, the democrats would handily win the house. But we need 23 democrats to win the house for the american people. And we could just win it with women alone. We have that many women candidates running, but we want more, of course. As persistent drought and climate change threaten the Colorado River, several states that rely on the water acknowledge they likely won t get what they were promised a century ago.
But not Utah.
Republican lawmakers approved an entity that could push for more of Utah s share of water as seven Western states prepare to negotiate how to sustain a river serving 40 million people. Critics say the legislation, which the governor still must sign, could strengthen Utah s effort to complete a billion-dollar pipeline from a dwindling reservoir that s a key indicator of the river s health. ....
