Lino Saputo, qui a fondé Saputo avec ses parents en 1954, vient d’acheter pour 43,3 millions $ d’actions du géant des produits laitiers. La transaction a été faite au nom de la Fondation Mirella & Lino Saputo. M. Saputo, 84 ans, détenait déjà 32 % des actions de l’entreprise montréalaise, une participation qui vaut actuellement 4,8 milliards $. Le titre de Saputo a cédé plus de 10 % depuis la publication de résultats trimestriels inférieurs aux attentes, au début du mois.
