UK physical therapist explores recovery challenges after ICU stay
As a physical therapist working in UK HealthCare's ICU Recovery Clinic, College of Health Sciences assistant professor, Kirby Mayer, seeks to understand why some patients recover their movement and muscle function while others do not, thanks to a new grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.
