Pueblo community theaters adapt, innovate to stay alive during COVID pandemic

But what happens when a worldwide pandemic pulls the curtains shut on that stage?
For Pueblo's two community theaters — The Impossible Players and Steel City Theatre Company — that dilemma has been a reality for the past year.
COVID restrictions in Pueblo County have caused both theater companies to cancel performances, seek innovation and adapt to continue providing homes for Pueblo's actors, directors and stage crews to showcase their talents.
Those in the theaters do it all for free, using their love of performing to soldier on during troubling times.
Steel City Theatre returned to the stage with its Thanksgiving show titled "Stuffed with Thanksgiving" in late January via a drive-in style performance.
