Striker Victor Osimhen will miss Napoli’s trip to Sassuolo, having not recovered from the head injury he suffered against Atalanta in February.
Osimhen fell awkwardly after a collision with Atalanta defender Cristian Romero and hit his head on the field, but the Nigeria international was conscious as he was stretchered off and rushed to the hospital.
According to La Repubblica, the Nigerian will not travel with Napoli to the Mapei Stadium, as he still struggles after the head injury he suffered towards the end of the 4-2 defeat to La Dea.
