AFTER years of gathering insights from leading companies in the industry, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) launched the Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) Digital Economy Technology last October to set graduates apart in the job market.
UTAR helps build solid logistics and supply chain 11 May 2021 / 11:33 H. The Faculty of Business and Finance at the Kampar Campus. WHEN the pandemic began, among the hardest hit were the supply chain and logistics sectors. This is because the pandemic led to large-scale lockdowns, hence suppliers in the chain had to temporarily cease production, and logistics providers were not able to transport goods, especially across borders. In such a time, the crisis also presented an opportunity for everyone to learn how to manage and overcome future disruptions, especially students who enrolled in the newly introduced programme – Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management – by UTAR’s Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF) in January this year.

They impact consumers’ choices and decisions based on the idea of sustainability. In fact, sustainability itself has become the very focus of architects today when designing these green buildings. At a more ambitious level, green cities are being eyed and developed, and green buildings play an important role. Suffice to say, achieving that ambition will require more architects with insightful understanding on sustainability, along with good skills and knowledge of the building industry. Today, it has become a highly recognised faculty for nurturing well-trained doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.
