Highlighting the health implications of climate-driven food insecurity, the session will focus on existing programs that strengthen the climate resilience and economic viability of the food supply chain and improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers. It will look at the key role that early warning systems play in making the supply chain from rural to urban settings more climate resilient, and the widespread health and environment benefits of including food systems in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
