Are still at the scene continuing this investigation, a few hours after young mother and her baby girl were hit by a car, earlier this evening. Police say around 8 45 that young mother was helding her baby when she started to cross the street but was struck by a sedan. We are told the driver of that car immediately stopped and at this point is cooperating with police.
