Normalcy this afternoon but there are counsellors and chaplins on hand counseling those people who need help who were emotionally upset by seeing police here, relieving the nightmare of the horror of the shootings of two years ago. [ sirens ] the emergency call came in at 7 29 a. M. , prompting this immediate response. Heavily armed local and federal law officers converging on the navy yard, which was put on lockdown. Employees sheltering in place. The initial call came from someone inside the navy yard who said they thought they heard gunshots. We did take every call seriously and when we heard a call go out for a potential active shooter we brought the resources. Reporter the report of a potential active shooter turned out not to be true but Officials Say the caller did the right thing by alerting police.
