Lao Sze Chuan, a chain of Szechuan Chinese restaurants in the Chicago area, is coming to North Bethesda in the space formerly occupied by BRIO Tuscan Grille.

Lao Sze Chuan, a chain of Szechuan Chinese restaurants in the Chicago area, is coming to North Bethesda in the space formerly occupied by BRIO Tuscan Grille at 20 Paseo Drive, according to the property’s leasing broker.
Lao Sze Chuan serves seafood, beef, lamb, poultry, tofu and vegetable entrees, as well as fried rice and fried noodle dishes, according to its website. Most items are priced between $15 and $22.

Lee’s latest experiment involved brewing with oyster sauce, though he ultimately had to dump it down the drain. “We used too much. It came out way too salty,” he says.
