Thursday's win marks the 2,200th win in program history and was the Seminoles' 10th win over a ranked opponent this season. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The fifth-ranked Florida State softball team (36-8, 13-2) hits the road once again for its fourth-straight road series against a ranked opponent as they head to Blacksburg, Va., to take on No. 22 Virginia Tech (33-12, 12-6). This is the first time in school history that the Seminoles have played four consecutive series against a ranked opponent on the road.
