Prince George Free Press » Cougs take two from birds

The Prince George Cougars have moved into second place in the B.C. division after beating the Seattle Thunderbirds Tuesday and Wednesday night, 3-1 and 6-1. The Cougars (10-5-2-1) have a five game winning streak going and have passed the Kamloops Blazers, but are still four points behind Kootenay in the race for top spot. “Our mandate is to not be satisfied and to just continue to get better. If we’re going to have a chance to stay in the race or even advance higher we’ve got to do as much as we can to win as many games as possible,” says head coach Ed Dempsey.
